I'M DR. KATE
I'm a Naturopathic Doctor on a mission to help ambitious women with PCOS conquer their symptoms. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 16- I was struggling with my body image, I was exhausted all the time, and my cycle was extremely irregular. I still remember the day I was sitting in the Doctor's office like it was yesterday, she told me I have PCOS- and I will likely never have children and I was too heavy and needed to lose- I was mortified. I felt like I had somehow caused my PCOS and I had no idea how I was supposed to follow her recommendations when I was already working out 6 days a week, skipping meals, and struggling to stay awake later than 7pm.
It wasn’t until I took my health into my own hands and learned how to best support my hormones with PCOS through proper nutrition, exercise, supplements, and lifestyle changes that I got my period back, achieved confidence in my body, and was able to harness the energy I knew I needed to go after my goals.
